You don’t need to be a sailor, to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Cedar Island Yacht Club, but it helps. Cedar Island Yacht Club, is a non-profit Club, established in 1972, located on the north shore of Lake Erie just west of the Town of Kingsville on Cedar Creek. We are the most southern yacht club in Canada. Our members are friendly, welcoming and the most helpful to new members.
 
This small but perfect location welcomes sailors who like to cruise, socialize and race. For those curious about sailing, we offer the only keel boat Learn to Sail Program in the area, Monday Night Sailing with Friends for those who want to experience sailing and a Youth Sailing Program for children ages 8 - 14. If you would like to crew on a sailboat, show up on our Wednesday night racing at 5:30pm, we'll find a boat for you to crew on (no experience necessary)
 
Our 85 members, consisting of Full, Social, Associate and Honorary, have been very involved in the community. We have raised money for Hospice and Cystic Fibrosis as well as supporting the Ontario Provincial Police through their OPP COP Camp by offering a sailing experience to the campers.
 
Walk around our treed grounds and Lake Erie will call out to you. What better way to respond, than a quiet sleek sailing vessel. The warm wind and sunny skies set a perfect background for a day on the water. Join as a Social member and you can store your kayak/SUP and enjoy the gorgeous Cedar creek.
