The race committee meeting results were developed following the solicited input from members on the previous years season.
We will examine bringing the course in closer so that the distance to the start mark is reduced.
The course layout itself and the position of the marks (N, S, E, W) remains the same.
GPS co-ordinates will be posted on the website.
Due to the 'rainy' season start, we are anticipating first race to be Wednesday May 18th.
All members are encouraged to join ECPHRF. The measurers and exec of PHRF will assist any member who needs to get their certificate. This can be done now.
The club will run three 6 race series. The first series will utilize a non-Committee Boat start and only use a designate to record finishes. The format was be presented at the Wine Tasting (April 23) to introduce the race program. Series prizes will be awarded the week following each series end.
Light levels are hard to account for later in the season, the start time will be moved up starting in the middle of the last series - dates to be announced.
After race 'munchies' will be continued!

The Maple Leaf Regatta will be a distance race,
The Labor Day will be around the buoys, but with an added '30 foot class', details to be added later.
We are looking at a Silver Hair Cup race in June (12) and potentially the Canadian Cancer Society as a fund raiser (favouring a local one).
